Chilling in Göteborg, Sweden

I’m spending a few days in Sweden with Sofia at her family home in Göteborg in Sweden.

Despite Sweden having one of the highest penetration rates for broadband, neither Sofia’s step-father or aunt have it…

I can’t remember the last time I used a 33.6kbps connection, but it was a looooooong time ago!

This must be about my 10th trip to Sweden, I think. The cheap flights on Ryanair mean we come quite often – you can usually pick up a return flight from Stansted for about £50 ($110) inc taxes.

Anyway, we’re about to go into town but will upload some pictures to Flickr… when I find a “friendly” wifi hotspot on broadband.
