Ready for Les Blogs to kick off

Jem and myself are sitting in the auditorium, ready for the Les Blogs conference to begin. They’ve gone totally mad with bandwidth – rumoured to be have cost more than €17k for two days. Apparently it’s 6MB down and 4MB up – so if it gets slow that’ll be because I’m a bastard using it for bit torrent!

There’s a wifi router at the end of every row of seats, on both sides. I can count at least 10 either side of me, plus more behind and also out in the hallway I think too.

Can’t get the BBC VPN to work with it yet, however. No BBC emails I guess for two days?

We’re being told to tag all our posts with lesbogs (surely lesblogs05/lesblogs2 would be better – what about next year?) – so follow the posts on Technorati and the pictures on Flickr.
