It’s official: YouTube is now GoogTube

Google’s official press release confirms the rumours: They have bought YouTube for $1.65B – apparently in stock.

I think I prefer GooTube to GoogTube – GoogTube is a bit to close to BoobTube – although that might be closer to what YouTube and Google Video are 🙂
