At 12:00 UK time (13:00 Western Europe), millions of people across Europe will join Londoners in a two-minute silence to remember those who lost their lives or were injured on July 7 2005.
Everyone is being asked to come out onto the street near their homes and offices to show “their complete defiance of the terrorists”, as Mayor Ken Livingstone put it.
