The BBC has launched “Popular and New”, perhaps what the homepage should really be?
Looks very interesting, and certainly an interesting mine of information – popular search terms, popular news stories that have been “emailed to a friend”, etc.
I’m sure there will be RSS feeds of this data coming soon… 🙂
