I have found using higher capacity batteries is a good way to go, that way you dont have to comprimise your laptops performance

word of warning though - using batteries that are not approved by the manufacturer of your laptop could be just as dangerous - if you want to be as safe as possible - call the manufacturer of your laptop for compatible batteries..
