   letsfixbritain: you need to make sure you have an IRC client installed, like MIRC or Chatzilla.

   And it needs to be setup to accept irc:// urls like the one above.

   Actually ben, with regards to the URL mIRC reads it as load ‘##mix06′ as opposed to #mix06 as mIRC add the # for you.
